CasCan Mining’s published Code of Business Conduct is laid out to address a broad scope of business practices and procedures. It does not however cover every possible issue that could potentially occur, but rather it sets out basic framework of principles to assist in guiding all of our company’s employees and officers. CasCan Mining’s employees and officers must at all times conduct themselves in accordance with this prescribed code and must be seen to avoid even the appearance of improper behavior. The Code is also to be made available to and adhered to by our agents and authorized representatives.
CasCan Mining is firmly committed to ensuring that our business practices are at all times in accordance with regulations stipulated by all relevant Chilean government departments in addition to best practice recommendations endorsed by the country’s leading business organizations. Regular input from government agencies, trade unions and business councils in Chile allow us to monitor not only our adherence to our own stated aims, but allow for dialogue between all interested parties, a process that helps to ensure both full corporate transparency as well as taking on board an industry wide perspective.
At CasCan Mining we have found that being proactive in regards to changes in regards to legislation that we are at the forefront of adopting such changes into our business practices in a timely and cost effective manner, causing little disruption to the ongoing nature of our organization and day to day operations, often times being in full compliance long before regulatory changes come into effect.
